[Serious]What is the stupidest thing you've ever heard someone say with confidence?

I used to work as a restaurant manager. There was this one customer we'd banned - he threatened to assault one of our bartenders because the bartender carded his underage girlfriend - that came back into the restaurant when the general manager was away on vacation . This is significant because the two of them went to high school together back in the day, and the GM is the one that banned him.

He sits down in the bar on a busy Friday night with two girls, and at first we didn't notice him. A new bartender had already taken their drink order before the bartender he threatened pulled me aside to point him out.

I walked over to the table and introduced myself as the manager. I informed him that, unfortunately, we wouldn't be able to serve him and he'd have to leave. Immediately he gets pissed and starts putting up a tough guy act. One of his little girlfriends goes off the handle and pulls out her phone. "I'm fucking filming you," she says. "This is illegal!" Nope. It's not. I explained the situation, and asked him "did you, or did you not threaten to assault my employee?" He gets this big shit-eating grin that I'll never forget on his face and says "Yeah, I did, because he deserves it!" Awesome. He practically said it right into the camera.

We argue for a bit, until ultimately I explain that he can either leave or I can call the police and have him escorted out in front of everybody. He gets up, makes a big show of walking towards the door, and then he turns and lays down one more bit of gold. "Do you know who I am? I'll get you fucking fired, bro. I know [GM]. He'll be so mad when he finds out that you did this while he was on vacation."

I gave him a very sincere smile and replied, "no he won't. He's the one that kicked you out the first time."
