[Serious]What unexplained memories do you have from your childhood?

When I lived in Mississippi our rainy season could be classed as monsoons. Sometimes it would rain constantly for weeks at a time and it'd be like have a lake dumped on the city. Obviously, when it would pour, it would REALLY pour, and it'd flood.

I lived with my grandma most of my young life. She lived in an old brick house on a hill at the end of the street, and it was high enough where we rarely received water physically inside the house, even when our direct next door neighbors would be flooded. I remember this one storm very distinctly, and it was probably the worst I experienced as a young child. The water rose within inches of coming through our sliding porch doors, and my poor timothy the turtle was lost beyond the fence to never be seen again. I remember the entire street having standing water, and my whole family being outside watching as debris floated pass. I remember as a wave of tree debris and water washed passed the house, my Uncle and / or grandfather pointing out a large snake among the wreckage.

The rest of the females didn't see it, but I did. I'd always had keen eyes like that. I very distinctively remember a VERY large snake, as in titanaboa large, but looking back and realizing I was a child with a hyperactive imagination, I am 100% certain that their was in fact a snake, and no, it was not giant, but rather an average sized pet burmese python (which, granted, would be giant to a small child) who had escaped through this particularly bad flood.

It's not anything very scary or anything, but I do remember it very distinctively from my childhood, and I do believe it really happened. I'm actually pretty sure it really happened.
