I had a friend gift me half a joint in high school my senior year. Cool dude, we weren't best of friends but we sat together in lunch with a few mutual friends. Cool of him to gift me a joint for my birthday. Anywho, I put it in my chest pocket of this grey Columbia sweater. Totally forgot about it, actually lost the sweater. It was in my closet, so I didn't wash it. Roach still in it.

I found the sweater two years later. I needed a sweater to go outside to let my dog poop. Winter, snow on the ground, not too cold. I throw the jacket on, we run outside and I go walk to my front yard door and check if it's closed right. I just stand there for a second and start going through the pockets. I find the reach and in all like Waaaaaa, cool. Had a lighter. Sparked up. Got high. I never mentioned it to him.

He ended up dying that following summer. Got shot in an alley, I'm guessing they tried to rob him, he was in his car. Cool guy, never messed with no one. Left a kid and a wife. Rip my guy Vince.
