[Serious] What is your most terrifying "we need to leave, NOW" random rush of fear you've felt?

When I was 17, I was awoken in the middle of the night by an extremely loud noise. I turned in bed to my left and looked across the room towards a large 2nd story window. The white blinds were disheveled and though I didn't make the connection immediately, they were being blown violently inward from high winds.

Assuming someone on a ladder was about to crawl through the broken window, I hurled myself out of bed and jumped down the long flight of stairs in two swift bounds. I ran to my parent's room on the first floor, yelling for them to call 911. They were obviously very shocked - said they woke up to a loud bang against the side of the house and within five seconds I was standing next to their bed, screaming.

After building up the courage to follow them upstairs to my room, we found a shattered window, glass all over the room, broken blinds, and a trampoline hanging out of my window by one of the metal legs. We lived in Alaska, where it is somewhat common to have 100+ mph winds roll through the hillside. When I went to bed, it was a peaceful night and I wasn't aware of any incoming inclement weather, so that definitely wasn't something I was thinking about when I was jarred awake.

I don't think I've ever moved as fast as I did that night - it turned out to be rather innocuous once the dust settled, but the rush of fear I felt after being jarred awake, turning, and seeing the glass and blinds shooting towards me in a flurry as I lay in bed at 3am... is still a little creepy to me even though I know it was only a trampoline. And the sound of the wind rushing in was deafening.
