(serious) What is your passion and how does it fit in with your day-to-day life?

My passion is writing. I feel I experience the world a little more in depth. I pay attention to the smallest, sometimes strangest details and sometimes I can't turn that part of me off but I don't mind. I love those details because they can flicker past in a half second if I don't catch them in time and in writing those half second moments can all add up to something that moves and provokes. I don't think about how I might describe something though. That's too generic, too direct. Like seeing a sunrise and describing its smear of colors. That's too simple. I like catching how a thing makes me feel, where else it takes me. It's usually a bunch of other little details that are all working at the same time. It isn't just a handful of colors but what else is happening around me. The breeze and what it's blowing, what's rustling, what a shaft of sun is blazed across and what it reminds me of, different sounds, smells, etc. I take that all in, break it down and save it.

That's actually a shit example because I don't write about sunrises. But still. My passion is writing and if I'm able to make a person feel something using something I've experienced in a situation neither of us have experienced and likely never will, that's awesome. So I pay attention as much as I can.
