Alright so, this girl named Katie, 13 years old gets knocked up by Patrick who is 19 years old. They loved each other. She hides it from her parents until she is 7 months pregnant and cannot hide it anymore. Her father, Martin flips shit, hunts the guy down and beats the guy up and tries to run him out of town. Katie has the baby, and they name her Kristen. Patrick is still around but has to sneak to see the both of them. Martin finds out that Patrick has been sneaking around to see Kristen and Katie so he kicks Katie and the baby out of the house. Katie goes and lives with the aunt down the road for almost 1 year. Martin eventually succeeds in running Patrick out of town by threatening his life. Then Katie thinks Patrick left her and she loses it. Katie tells her mom she can’t raise the baby anymore. So Martin, takes Kristen, who is now 2, to a distant cousin so they can raise her. Well, Katie’s mother Brenda won’t stand for that and she goes and gets little Kristen and brings her back to their home. Brenda tells Martin that they will be raising this baby. Martin and Brenda change the baby’s birth certificate so Patrick and Katie are no longer on the certificate. They tell Katie if she speaks a word she will never see Kristen again. Everyone in town who knew was told to keep quiet or else bad things would happen to them. 36 years pass. Kristen grows up thinking that Katie is her sister and that Martin and Brenda are her actual parents… Until one day, Brenda lets something slip. Brenda had really bad Alzheimer’s and thought she was speaking to her sister, Deborah, on the phone, but she was really speaking to Kristen. She said “Oh Deborah, I was terrified that Katie was going to take Kristen away from me one day” Now, Kristen ignored this at first, until Martin picked up the phone and said “Call back later” She thought it was strange of her father to act that way. She called back and no one answered. Kristen called one of her friends, Patty, who she has known her whole life and explained what happened. Patty EVEN KNEW THE TRUTH. (Because patty’s mother was friends with Brenda when all of this happened) She told Kristen that she needed to call Katie and get some answers…. The beans were spilled. Brenda and Martin never knew that Kristen found out. Kristen didn’t want them to know that she knew. They passed within the next year. Then Kristen found her birth father Patrick, and 3 sisters that she never knew about. – Kristen is my mother. Neither my mother or I, ever saw a violent side from my grandfather. He was the most loving, caring person i had ever met. This was all a complete shock in so many ways i cant even begin to go into all the details. (I did not use actual names in this story.)
