[Serious] What's your story of seeing somebody's mental state degrade?

I beg anybody (especially 20-30-something women) who struggles with severe depression, along with anxiety-like and PTSD-like symptoms, either cyclical or seemingly at the same time, coming and going, to watch this video (I know it is an hour sorry but it is the best out there)

tl:dw: Bipolar Disorder, manic-depression if you will, obviously can have a very deep depression involved, but the "manic" part might not be very "manic" at all in actuality, it might appear very similar to anxiety and PTSD, for instance, the "irritability" part, where people have to walk on eggshells around you during that time.

Normal antidepressants don't help very much, because you don't have major depression and anxiety and PTSD, you might be better served by "just" having bipolar, in fact, some SSRIs increase the "cycling" between depression and "anxiety/PTSD" and increase "mixed states," i.e. anxietty/PTSD/depression all at once.

Anyway, if you don't want to skim the video at least google "Bipolar-Not Otherwise Specified" or "Bipolar-NOS."

If the comment above is a woman, and in her 20s to 30s, and either had some postpartum or a family member who might be bipolar, some Lamotrigine might be a slam dunk, potentially replacing a whole sub-effective regimen of an SSRI, SSRI augmentator like bupropion, propranolol for anxiety, adderall for focus, abilify for PTSD, plus likely self-medicating with marijuana, alcohol, benzos whatever.
