[Serious] What's your "when it rains, it pours" story?
This is/was the longest 18 months of my life.
mother dies of cancer related causes
wasn't able to be in the same room as her for her last week because I had bronchitis and had to quarantine myself
brother disowned me
fear dad is going to torn back to alcoholism
within a month my dad finds a new fuck buddy which calls into question of he was loyal while she was alive
dad comes home one night after drinking, doesn't tell us a thing but beer is more a main stay in the fridge
two months in my dad gets a new girlfriend but doesn't tell the kids. We find out because my dad was sexting her
start dating a girl from work but before we even start dating she confides in me that she had been raped. It was a day before my mom died when I found this out
she gets promoted to be above me and dumps me two days into my final year of college
I thought my college tuition had been covered before my mom died. It hadn't.
start going to therapy because I couldn't handle anything
still have to work with ex as my supervisor
get really close to a friend who hangs himself at his own Christmas party
at the end of January I get into a skiing accident and have a massive concussion and get a hairline fracture in my spine
repeatedly call ex while high on drugs.
nearly get fired from work due to a poor attitude about having to work with my ex and after being injured. I was never approached about my bad attitude by my manager. It was in fact my ex that told me to get my shit together or I would be fired
nearly fail a class and deal with the biggest jerk of a professor I have ever seen
my dad and his now wife get married without telling us. We only find out after we see it on Facebook.
Some of these could have been avoided and some were out of my hands but live and love and learn.
