[Serious] When did a 'smart' person scold you for you lack of knowledge or limited vocabulary?

A couple days ago I got on the bus for school and everyone’s phone starting buzzing. It was one of those emergency alerts, this time it was an AMBER Alert. I guess some people don’t know what that is, so the bus got a little loud and people were confused. This entitled girl (who is younger than me), starts trying to get everyone to shut up (in a not very nice way.) I don’t have many friends, and even though I’m a very quiet person, I said, “An AMBER Alert is a missing child.” Even on the Alert it had the information of a car that could’ve taken this missing child. (Turned out to be a 3 year old.) Back to this girl, she stands up from the seat diagonal from me, while the bus is moving, and says, “AMBER Alerts are for rainstorms that can turn into hurricanes, dumbass. Are you stupid or something? Unlike you, I’m smart and educated. Sit down.” And her and her little friends just laughed. I turned away in my seat, wondering who the heck told this girl that AMBER Alerts had to do with rainstorms.
