[Serious] When should one consider seeing a therapist?

I began seeing one in 6th grade, I'm now 19, so I've been in therapy for quite some time. I tell anyone this, but you don't have to be mentally ill to see one. You could have a decent life and still see one. Having someone to vent to and/or receive advice from has a lot of healthy benefits. Even if you don't like talking to someone, it still helps. Also, it's not like you have to see one weekly. You could do every other week or once a month.

When looking for one, realize when that the first one you meet, may not be a great fit for you. That doesn't mean therapy doesn't work, it just means you have to do some searching to find a good therapist.
