[Serious] Which movies have actors visibly on drugs?

Because of her impact on film itself. There wouldn't be a Gal Gadot if there wasn't a Judy Garland. And that's a pretty grand statement but I don't think it's altogether false.

I'm in my early thirties but the works of Judy Garland have had a tremendous impact on me. More than just The Wizard of Oz. From playing Under the Bamboo Tree on my grandma's organ, or watching the On the Atcheson, Topeka, and the Santa Fe in The Harvey Girls with my mom, and reading extensively about her life in the aptly titled biography Get Happy. I've grown up with her works. To hear of someone not even knowing her name (and maybe they did but they were too lazy to type it out), it feels a little bit like I'm fading too. And I'm here a good sixty years after her or so.

It is depressing to me.

If you watch the La Conga number in Strike Up the Band it's clear she was on uppers, and it wasn't just her mother that doled them out to her, it was the studio system.

She worked so hard seriously all her life only to be taken advantage of by so many people close to her, and in the end she was completely wrung out like a dishrag. She looked like she was in her eighties by her mid forties because of the work and the drugs. She was exploited by a tyrannical (literal) stage mother and an opportunistic studio system.

Mentioning her real name is twelve keystrokes. I think it deserves worth mentioning.
