Seriously lagging on deadlifts and squats. An suggestions on how I should seriously improve on these?

Disclaimer: I'm about to humble-brag, but i was in the exact same position as OP and definitely relate to his struggle. I was the same height (still am), weight, and even same lifting numbers with a bench 1rm that was greater than my squat.

So far it's been 8 years of consistent lifting. Now squatting in the mid 400s, deadlifting in the low 500s, and benching exactly 355 because i like bench so sue me. ;) Also I weigh 235 because I don't compete and I like food.

I don't know if you have the same problem I did, but I would always find an excuse to get out of squatting because I hated it and it felt unnatural. You just have to squat often and consistently to get better at it. It takes a lot of practice to master these lifts, and it wont happen overnight or in 10 months. Be a student of lifting and look up everything you can in this sub, the powerlifting sub, youtube, etc. If you see someone in the gym that knows what they are doing...like you see them perform a perfect squat go up to them, introduce yourself and ask questions. I still do that.

If I was in your position and I had to do it all over again, I would start with linear progression. I took a look at the Greyskull LP a few times and I think I would choose that over SS. From there, move on to a program where you are adding weight less frequently like 5/3/1, texas method, etc once you stalled completely on linear progression. When you become advanced you can figure stuff out for yourself. I consider myself a late intermediate and I like the conjugate method for raw lifters and the juggernaut method.

Alright, that's as concise as I could keep it. Hope this helps, and remember to stay consistent. If you are putting your time in and practice the major lifts you are already ahead of the game.
