Seriously tho, why?

Because people don't understand there is a wide variety of pizza and settle for crap pizza.

Half of pizza is the bread. The foundation. The crust. Why would you continue to pay for something you throw away? Millions do every day.

They don't realize there's many other options and settle into blissful ignorance and mediocracy. Which most bland and dry pizza places count on you doing. It's how they survive.

If you knowingly get mediocre or bad pizza that's fine (I too enjoy the salty, cheesy, greasy, affordable cardboard of Little Caesars occasionally), just be aware you're slumming it.

I was lucky enough to have an amazing but small pizza shop open near my college. They had several crust types from yeast(?) they developed themselves. My eyes were opened.

My favorite was a sourdough. I didn't even like sourdough bread before that.
