Seriously though why do people not mention this?

I think the post itself is a good example of that pendulum swing.

I'm fairly certain the claim that Stalin killed "well over" four times as many people than Hitler is pretty ridiculous.

I'm assuming that's taking the highest estimates of Stalin's death toll. To be intellectually honest, we should then take the highest estimates of Hitler's death toll.

So not only the Holocaust, which can be figured to have killed over 20 million people, but also the majority of deaths of WWII (which does overlap with the deaths of the Holocaust to a degree). An estimate using those figures would put the death toll around 90 million people.

So, apparently, Stalin killed well over 360 million people.
