I am not sure what I think of Sertraline I was on it for about 2 years in the past and it was ok but recently my dr did try it again with me and I had such nasty reaction to it, I did notice my arms and legs were not aching from the Fibro like normal and I did feel very warm from it but the side effects were too much for me so I stopped it.
Some are different in reaction to antidepressant honestly I think they are vile and the fact that withdrawal can be quite nasty says to me they are not to be used lightly, only as last resort... see how you get on with lower doses there may not be need to ramp the dose up I have always hates how dr's are doing this I know that it how it is supposed to be done but I do think that some are too eager to put the dose up while sometimes ignoring complaint of side effects.
