Set Theory for Data Sets

Hello Reddit friends, I am seeking your help in formulating properly the following argument (or, if you think it is incorrect, I would love to hear that too) I am trying to layout a logical fallacy in the concept of Jewish Nationality. The fallacy, roughly, is this: Let A = {all people who belong to the Jewish religion} Let B = {all people who belong to the Jewish nation}

  1. all members of A are also members of B - (ALL Jews belong to the Jewish Nation)
  2. No one ELSE is member of B (NO non Jews belong to the Jewish nation) Therefore A=B, or, if I remove the common term "Jewish" from both groups, Nation=Religion. Since we know that Nation ≠ Religion, and since the Jewish Religion cannot be denied, there is a fallacy in the concept of the Jewish nationality. I would love to hear your opinion on this, and if you think this is correct, I would appreciate your assistance in formulating this argument properly.

Thank you very much
