I'm glad you arent turned off by the audiophile snobs. I just had to say something because the vitriolic reaction I got on this sub from sharing my first record player, a "gay" pink crosley cruiser (because women dont exist on the internet?) almost made me give up vinyl in disgust. Not everyone can drop $1,000 for a turntable.

A tip for finding a good turntable that's affordable: look for open box item condition on eBay. It just means it was either returned, or has very minor cosmetic damage. I scored my Teac LP 550-USB on ebay for $200 (retails usually around $400). If you like all-in-one systems like me, its perfect.

You won't notice the difference on something like a crosley, but for higher quality, ceramic using turntables, the Cerapreme Blue needle is amazing. It's usually ~$30
