Setting gain with dmm help

Its says no go on 1ohm in bridged mode, but it says each channel individually can handle 1ohm. Which it help anyone reading if you said exactly how you wired everything up to the amp.

As of now I am guessing you have 2 sets of kappas in each of the doors(4 total) as you said each door is wired for 2ohm so only 1 set of leads are going to the amp. Now if you connected to the left and right to just channel A or (B) so that all 4 speakers are now on 1 bank. You have 125rms of power to each door, this would be 'safe' while odd and under-utilizing your speaker. I would then assume you hooked up your rears to the other unused bank (channel B is usually rears) which they would have 150rms as @2ohm this amp lets you have more power apparently.

or

Are your running each door on a separate bridged channel, Channel A for the left, and B for the Right. If you are as mentioned nobody really pushes 1ohm on 4channels as they tend not to like it. But this would the way to get enough power out of the amp You only need 200rms per door so it looks like that would be the ball park. I'd then assume your rear speakers are hooked up to the deck, maybe another amp?

Advice: If you must have 2 speakers in each front door. Run them @2ohm with individual wires from each speaker to the 4 channel amp. Use all 4 channels will deliver enough power to all front speakers. do whatever you want with the rear except use it on the amp, nobody cares about rear stage anyway.

better: Sell all sets of kappas to your friends. Buy a decent set of component speakers, You have a good 100rms to work with and if you wanted to bridge the amp with 4 ohm speakers you have more if you only wanted to amp the front. Be happy, sound deadened doors and watch your wildest mid bass appear out of thin air.
