But TL;DR - TST was founded by Lucien Greaves and Malcolm Jarry when they went to Harvard together. The primary goal of TST is > to promote egalitarianism, social justice, and the separation of church and state, supporting their mission "to encourage benevolence and empathy [among all people]."

And, as stated above, they are nontheistic. They do not believe in or worship a literal Satan. Satan is simply a figurehead, a symbol that they use to promote skepticism, personal autonomy, and other things. While many practitioners do refer to themselves Satanists, it can be a bit confusing since members of the Church of Satan can also call themselves that. So you would have to ask someone on a case-by-case basis if they are associated with TST or CoS.

One of their biggest fights/causes is that of abortion. Since one of TST's tenets is "One's body is inviolable", they view all restrictions on abortion, including mandatory waiting periods, as an infringement on the rights of Satanists to practice their religion.
