Sex for teens in the overly religious Philippines

Canadian guy born of Filipino parents:

-I was 14 with a female. 12 with a male. Not sure of other Filipinos here. Parents had a don't ask don't tell thing going on when it came to me doing it. It was a relationship but I've had sex outside of relationships as well.

-Not religious and neither were my partners. Family is Catholic. Some family members more devout than others.

-I went to a fucking Catholic school so sex education was just "don't do it, here's a bunch of pictures why you shouldn't. It's bad for your soul". Nothing on homosexual sex/relationships. And that women are the passive ones in sexual relationships.

-Some teens will have sex. Teach them different safe sex methods, diseases, sexual health, sexual views in different cultures, how the culture of sex evolved over time, different sexual relationships (homo, hetero, polyamorous, open), how sex is portrayed in media vs how it really is, and how to assertively say yes or no in a relationship/sex for your own comfort, and how to listen.
