[SGA] Things "Companion App Xur" DOESN'T do

Front page post this morning read "you can now view Xur's stock on the companion app"...while SGA, it failed to go into any amount of detail, so I had to go and open the app to see what that meant.

I discovered that it doesn't do more than it actually does. doesn't show min and max breakdown, doesn't tell you where he's located...so I shared my findings in a new post, as at the time I thought it warranted having a more factual discussion on what it really means to this reddit community.

If you saw that post and the top comments, you saw it had diverted into lighthearted joking. At the time I posted this, only one person made a comment about what Niko and some others provide for us in terms of their xur megathread. I decided posting something separate instead of commenting, as it would have been buried, and at least new eyes could judge the post on its own and decide to up vote or down vote as reddit does.

In my opinion, at that point, attempting to direct the conversation to bring what the app can do and can't do would have been SGA to anyone upset because they thought this was a pretty big thing happening...now we can see xur through the app too? Don't even need to log in to the game to see if I need to buy something anymore? Awesome! That's what I initially thought, but I clearly was probably the only one at that time, as what was SGA to me...especially when I realized I couldn't even see what the possible max on the roll is for if it's worth it to relevel and replace a shitty roll...I thought I'd share to give more details on what xur on the companion app really means...

Don't get me wrong, I understand your comment. That's why I left it alone after people clearly didn't feel the same way as I did when I posted it. But it was, what, 4 hours later when a post is only at 20% or something with no comments, and you gotta make sure THIS guy really knows he's wrong?

Kinda just out to make a point, aren't ya?
