Going over the top in WWI was an insanely dangerous thing to be ordered to do, but wave after wave of men did it (sometimes at threat of gunpoint). Can't imagine the guts it took to do that.

The singer for the tune I composed (link below) is Jim Radford. Found a video of the guy singing this acapella on youtube. So I composed this arrangement and put his vocals against it. Would love to find this gentleman and get this to him (or his family)!

The original songwriter is Lemmy Kilmister, lead singer and bassist of Motörhead. He died in 2015 (aged 70).
