Do not feel ashamed! You have makeup that works for you and that is all that matters. When you are out walking around, nobody knows what brand the makeup on your face is anyways. It’s basically just for you to see when you are at home putting it on.
If it makes you feel any better, I’m in a fortunate position of being able to afford pretty much whatever I want for makeup. And I have some high end products for sure. But, I’m also still using my back stock of $7/bottle CYO Foundation because it was my favorite, Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer, No.7 presser powder and Covergirl powder, L’Oréal Bambi Eyes mascara and my favorite lipstick is $9 and from the Sephora collection. I rock my stuff with pride because I feel good in it. When I get asked what I have on (I’m usually asked about my foundation), I’ll even start by saying “this super cheap $7 foundation in a plastic bottle. Can you believe it? It’s the best!”
