I agree! I was Pay to Play until about 30 minutes ago. I actually feel a bit lighter. I started at the Gamma Event and have everyone except Green Goblin and Carnage in a Cage. I made it to Streak 6 and just saw the money leaving my wallet. I bought the Premium Characters Already and saw that it just spread out the rewards from the scrolls and all my characters are about evenly leveled.....at level 6. No way am I paying around forty bucks for a character that will walk around unused indefinitely at level one. It will be a relief to not spend around twenty a week(probable more like forty) on a mobile game. I know there will always be whales, but having just resigned and handed in my whale card, I do not think that the game can keep up long term like this. I will stay play the game, but seriously you cannot keep people on long term unless they have an indispensable income. Most of my characters do nothing and leveling them up after an event is ridiculously expensive! Sorry for the long winded post, but that is step one of Former Whales Anonymous. Step two is moving on and actually enjoying the game and feeling proud of earning a character instead of buying it. Step three is enjoying the campus Population gradually increase.
