do you share any DG's political philosophies?

Aw man I was waiting for someone to mention this hahaha.

Half the reason why I got into DG back in 2012 was because of the music and the other half was because I could relate to their ideas in regards to their political philosophies. I'm a pretty huge politics junkie and read news from all over the world on a daily basis. It's been a constant thing for me for a number of years now.

There's an interview from 2012 where Zach was talking about how money doesn't rule his life and how the members of DG bought cell phone jammers and would eventually buy hacking equipment, guns, and land once they got a lot of money. Mainly as preparation for a societal collapse in the USA. Since digging deep into politics has made me already paranoid of that possibility years before I came across DG, it was awesome to me that someone in a group that made music I liked finally said that as well.

I've had two pretty noided moments in my life from the past 5 years. One was when I was pretty vocal about my anti-government views on facebook back when I was 18 (I'm 23 now) and I got random text message from some dude in Virginia talking about "joining a revolution against the government". The number didn't trace back to anyone I knew and I also had my own phone number displayed on my profile. After awhile I figured it was probably one of those "FBI informant setting someone up for a terrorist plot that they can bust" kind of scenarios that has happened multiple times to other people over the years. It doesn't take long for "the powers that b" to find you online since government surveillance is pretty insane nowadays.

The second one was when I was talking about the deep web and money laundering with one of my homies a couple years ago and we heard this weird clicking on the phone all of a sudden. We assumed that we got tapped so once we moved to another subject we didn't hear it again lol.

I'm pretty supportive of leadership transparency and was a huge fan of those Edward Snowden leaks from 2013. The more I look at society as a whole the more I think that some pretty gnarly things are coming and Death Grips music will fit right in with the times.
