To contribute: Here is one of mine (long), and it is actually one of the most frightening experiences in my life. I was battling depression and severe anxiety at the time, and had fully rejected God. I was actually (very sad to say this now) very hostile and angry towards him, since I felt He did not exist. I was baptized Catholic, and would pray all the prayers I knew (Apostles Creed, Our Father, Act of Contrition, Hail Marry, Glory Be to the Father, and the Blessed Oh Lord) from 4th grade to through most of High school like literally every single night. Only missing a handful. When I had rejected God, I felt like I deserved to be happy, since I had worshipped Him so faithfully (I had thought). I was so foolish...
Anyways, I am driving back home from college, and I've been up for nearly 48hours (I was abusing adderall, and it had been exam week I believe). I was very distressed, and I had a plethora of problems I was thinking of as I was heading back home. I got very angry, and shouted to myself, "God give me a sign You exist, and I'll be a great servant for You." Right after I said that, like instantaneously, a Range Rover (going about 60-70) appeared out of nowhere behind me and slammed against the median. I was scared for my life, and had to pull over at Gas Station. Looking back I now realize that I am pretty sure He was sending me a message saying like, "I have given you so many blessings in this life I blessed you with, and I can easily take it away. You either choose Me or death."
What is crazy is that even after that happened I did not accept God. It was not till 3 years later, I realized how God has been with me constantly, and He had answered all my prayers...HIS way, not mine.
I am so thankful and unworthy.
