From #StreetMusicians to #PickupVolleyball games, #HappyHour to #Karaoke you can share all the little goings on with people nearby on a Google map. Pings can be placed at any location and floor regardless of GPS accuracy or address and are labeled with hashtags to describe them. You save these hashtags as "interests" so that if a Ping starts nearby with hashtags you find interesting ENY will tell you about them in real time. If you aren't within a mile of the Pings you can still look anywhere on Earth from the app but it won't flood you with notifications. Details: Thought we've been working on the app for a while we only just recently launched it publicly. We had some funding a year back but sadly we only had it on Android and though we received excellent interest on college campuses we couldn't hit a critical mass without an iPhone version. Now we have the iPhone version and we're ready for round 2! There are 5 of us working on this at the moment, 4 of us developing and 1 marketing specialist. Feedback: We're fresh out of the gate so I'd love feedback on how to get started at colleges, cities and major location events (like Burning Man or SXSW) and most importantly we'd love feedback on how best to scale and find early adopters. Naturally we love our product and think it is worth investment but as developers who started this initially in our free time we don't have the necessary network in place to meet the right people and shake the right hands.
