Shawn Spears: “Speaking of ‘vulnerable’... He bled exactly how I thought he would....easily. Now if @AEWrestling feels they are owed any kind of explanation, they can send good ol Jim Ross for a nice little sit down... Sincerely, ‘A great hand’”

Recall that the guy now heading WWE RAW, who everyone is hailing as the savior of WWE, is Paul Heyman. This is the guy who had a horrifically unsafe scaffold match between New Jack and Vic Grimes in 2000, resulting in blinding and brain damage. This was already a few years after the Mass Transit incident, also involving New Jack.

Just saying, everyone on social media attacking Khan, Cody and Spears for a head chair shot need to relax. Cody's the defacto head and visible face of AEW, and if he planned for a chair shot to the head, then I see nothing wrong with it. Storyline I thought the timing was weird as it kind of came out of nowhere.

Recall that the "Attitude Era" everyone loves had Mick Foley handcuffed taking a series of horrific hard chair shots by Rock with noone stopping the match.

And for those saying it "ruins" kayfabe for Tony and Bucks to talk about how they plan/book and use gimmicks, the post show scrums AEW does aren't kayfabe(well, ok maybe MJF is in kayfabe 24/7) In all his interviews and scrums, Khan openly says everyone knows wrestling is a work. No way you'd ever see WWE do a post PPV scrum, let alone one dropping kayfabe.
