Having worked in a "boutique" bed and breakfast in wine country/touristville USA - I've delt with the epitome of Karen's from Southern California (99% of visitors from out of state were always incredibly gracious). The level of pretentiousness and the inability to accept their own mistakes is beyond me. Assholes like the dude in this video will always want to point their finger at someone else - and are the reason that no amount of money could make me consider joining that sector of hospitality again. This chick really kept her cool, good for her!

PSA: Don't book rooms through 3rd party sites like booking.com, Expedia, Travelocity etc. Calling directly will likely get you a matched rate, a better room, and/or an easier time finding resolution to the understandable errors that happen in the process.
