Sheffield United goal ruled offside

This is basically all the Premier League has decided to use VAR for: millimetre offside calls. Apparently clear penalty not given, say Martial against Crystal Palace? Nope, nothing to do there. Nothing clear and obvious. But we can clearly get this 5 mm offside call even though there is a margin of error inherent to frame rate and what frames are chosen. If a player's leg or whatever is deemed "offside" falls within some confidence interval of offside (which is doable, you can generate a 95% bootstrapped CI in seconds, just input the data), then it is not clearly offside. But we have the referees' union, where they back their mates and not the laws of the game and make fucking disgraceful calls each an every week. We waste four minutes of a match for this bullshit. The Premier League clearly wants VAR to fail, so they are using it poorly.
