Shelter a physiological necessity

Remember when the government gave $billions to banks to keep home prices up? Remember when you supported that (and probably still support that)?

That had two (obvious) consequences. 1) Home prices would stay up. 2) The value of the dollar would decrease (due to the increased supply of dollars and the shifting of purchasing power from responsible individuals (who didn't spend too much money), to banks and insurance companies that had proven their incompetence by becoming insolvent.

And now you're complaining about the consequences that resulted from the policies you supported. Instead of questioning your premises, you are doubling down and demanding even more of the same types of intervention. If you get it, the middle class (and the purchasing power of your dollars) will further erode.
