If someone is out waving a confederate flag they're 100% a racist piece of shit.

So you're walking this back now. Cool. I'm pleased to have taught you something. A flag can mean different things to different people at different times. Sometimes is means racism, but not advocacy of slavery. Sometimes it's a historical artifact. Sometimes it's a symbol to tell a story. Sometimes it just means you like Lynard Skynard. Remember those anti-racists and their CSA flag? You don't know from the photo what it means to this particular child. To attack him based on a narrative that you invented in your imagination makes you an asshole.

P. S. There were lots of reasons the confederacy existed other than slavery. These reasons are explicitly stated in a mountain of documents, like the Virginia and Kentucky Resolutions, and the Articles of Secession. If you don't know these basic facts, why are you pretending to be an expert?
