i'm new to kpop and, since i started on it, shinee has been my favorite group. i couldn't agree with you more. i'm sad when i see they are not loved like other groups, although they are multitalented. i think part of it is an age thing: the members are older (Kibum talked about it in an interview, btw. he said he never thought he would be an idol at 30) and most kpoppers are really young, so they end up supporting groups with younger members. and i'm not going to judge because the second thing that led me to like them was their age (the first one was the music, obviously): i am older than most people in most fandoms i know and i love shinee 'cause i identify more with those guys. i admit that i feel immature for my age if i only listen new groups, with members much younger than me. maybe it's silly, idk. but i feel it.
