Ship Purchasing is LIVE!

You (and CIG) are out of your friggen minds if you think anyone is going to be willing to grind away for 200-300 hours in an Aurora to upgrade to what, a Bucaneer? Gladius? Not going to happen.

I can appreciate that there are a lot of aspects of the game that should certainly appeal to more of the hardcore crowd than whatever you call "casuals", but it's ridiculous to think the more than 50-60% of players in a starter ships are going to spend any longer than 20-30 hours in said starter ship before they get burnt out and quit, leaving a couple space whales to populate a massive, empty universe.

Privateer was arguably the original "hardcore" space sim, and I certainly didn't even spend that long in the piece of shit Tarsus. Maybe 10-20 hours and I was upgraded to something else.

I can appreciate where you are coming from, but the current ship cost balance is way out to lunch.
