Ships do NOT have to be healthy!

In my humble and probably biased opinion, I think there are things inherently problematic about depicting certain fantasies. The more we write/consume content about something, the more acceptable and normal it becomes to us, or the more numb we become to it. It's why I find dubcon or r@pe incredibly disturbing. I don't get how someone could read a situation that could cause years of trauma to a person and not feel sick about it. Especially as someone who has ptsd from sexual assault. I don't feel like it should be acceptable to make scenes about stuff like that. I don't think its ever necessary to have a r@pe scene in anything. The idea that someone could look at a behavior (done by fictional characters, but still) that made me and many others need years of therapy, and find it sexy, makes me sick. I just don't think its healthy for anyone to consume that type of content, it doesn't matter if it is fictional. Fiction affects the way we perceive our reality, and can absolutely be dangerous.
