Shit to do at Ft Sill?

Never been, but I’ve got a married with kids Special Forces Major buddy that has. (I say this b/c it may influence his opinion on it)

I think he really like it. He constantly talks about it. Seriously, he’s been to many bases but talks about this one A LOT. maybe he just really likes the atmosphere. I know he didn’t live in Lawton, and I doubt he lived on base, he mentioned something that sounded suburby. I think like all the bases I’ve ever spent time in, which is now up since the last time I said something on here, (Leonard Wood, Stewart, Lewis, Humphreys, and now Benning and Bragg). Maybe it’s a relaxing environment, quiet Oklahoma roads that takes you never eat soggy waffles. Probably a more family type environment, I looked at housing in Lawton a few months ago hoping to get it one day since I’ve never been in the Texas area and kinda want to without going to Hood or the El Paso. Housing seemed kinda creepy, I was looking around the 400K range and they looked pretty cool on the outside, neat brick and all, but the Oklahomans love their wood. Not to mention, the roads are a weird color from the Zillow images, not that I’m judging their culture, but feels like a neat experience I don’t mind trying out one day if I can. If not, I’ll just visit OKC or Tulsa or something like that on a vacation, it’d make a neat road trip to the North Star.
