Short games for $70 - new trend starting PS5?

Yeah people are really starting to take for granted how much longer games are in general. It's even more impressive when they're AAA single player games without microtransactions.

Uncharted 4 for example was nearly the same length as long as any 2 of Uncharted 1-3 combined.

God of War PS4 (if you did side stuff) was the same length as GoW 1-3 combined, and if you only did the main story, it was longer than any 2 of the previous games combined.

TLOU2 was nearly double the length of TLOU.

In this day and age IMO, I'm more than okay with a $10 price bump for complete games without microtransactions with high production value and great gameplay/stories. I'm just a bit surprised that people are acting like 12 hour games are a new thing. If anything they're far less rare than ever before.
