Factories that produce like this have shifts. They would still get the exact same amount done with the exact same number of hours. The distribution would just be different.

Say it takes 80 (used 80 for simplicity) man hours to run the plant for a day. No matter what, you need 80 man hours of work to run the plan. You can do this in a few ways. You can have 8 people working for 10 hours. Or you can have 10 people working for 8 hours. Or you can have 16 people working for 4 hours each.

So seeing this, can you understand what we are saying here? Look at things based on the man hours that it takes to get them done. No matter what, you can divide man hours up amongst people or shifts of people to get the work done without any cost increases.
