I shot a music video for a talented local artist and I'd love to hear your thoughts on it!

Nice work. I like the dread or gloom created in the bathtub set, but the bedroom set, with its golden hue fell flat for me. The third depiction, where you see more of the room gets a bit better, but with the actors tending to blend into the background I don't think it works as well as the other scenes.

Not sure if you used lo-con or nets for that particular scene, but that worked to make it have a feel and emotion all its own. I think the major issue are those hanging lights. I had the same problem on a feature last year where they hung strings of bulbs in an attic, and at 800iso it red something like f/22 LOL. Those string lights put out too much non-directional light.

Now, maybe this was a conscious choice (im reaching here) to show that the bedroom was an environment where time and substance fade away into each other and the sexy timesTM happen on a regular so much so that the people have become a part of the environment themselves, therefore negating the need for background separation and encouraging a softer look (YAY REAR NETS!).

AND, the concert stage, with the piano could have been a bit more contrasty for my personal taste - but it looked fine anyhow.
