Shotguns (Going to keep posting until ubi notices)

So currently shotguns are extremely unreliable and not very viable at higher tiers of ranked and pro league play. They are mostly used as tools rather than weapons and this is for a few reasons.

Reason number one and probably the biggest is that they can not one shot head shot like every other weapon in the game, from the dinkiest pistol to the largest caliber rifle. A simple fix for this would be to make the pellet that always goes where you aim the only one with an instant kill head shot multiplier, while surrounding pellets have that multiplier before a limited distance to negate any chance of rng head shots at range.

The second big reason is that shotun pellet spread is too random to be consistent and reliable at any reasonable distance. Why would you use a shotgun beyond point blank range when you aren't sure what effect it is going to have because of chance? You would just use a pistol or an smg-11 in smoke's case. A simple fix for this would be to standardize pellet spread in a simple cone pattern and adjust damage modifiers over distance depending on the desired damage at certain distances for each shotgun. This would also decrease the likelihood for rng head shots because the pellets would go in the same place every time and up close would still require similar accuracy to get accurate head shots.

I hope Ubisoft takes note and we can finally see shotguns being used with as much viability as an smg or an assault rifle but for different situations, especially in higher ranks where currently they are used as joke weapons or tools for construction.

TL:DR Shotguns aren't good past a certain skill level and shouldn't be limited in use simply because people would complain that they are OP when any other gun in the game (including pistols and weapons like the smg-11 intended for extreme close ranges) can one shot them across a map if used in the hands of a skilled individual.
