Shoukaku in close combat [Commentary] (or destroying destroyers)

<It absolutely is not. Ever heard of this thing called "anti air"? If you start doing circles above a battleship then 2 things will happen: 1. the battleship will most likely shoot down close to one whole squadron and 2. the battleship's fighter will engage another squadron making them panicked. Pre-dodging is INCREDIBLY important. Just this notion you have alone tells me that you do not understand how this works. And if even either of the things I listed happens you've already lost 1/3 of your entire drop so now you're hitting with only 2/3 of it and will still only hit at most 2/3 leading to a maximum hitrate of less than half.

Because the carrier player needs to leave their planes in the AA kill zone the whole time. All you literally have to do is pull back, wait for rudder lock, and then rush in because planes turn on a dime.

I'm not cherry picking minimum data values. I'm using the numbers you used. You somehow make it seem that "guaranteed 16k damage" is somehow too powerful. I'm telling you that 16k damage doesn't mean shit. It was your own point that you were making.

M8, I know you're foreign, but you keep not reading entire paragraphs or something. I said you were guaranteed to get 16k dmg on a stacked drop on any ship. Any ship. By your own admission BBs will take more torps. You're trying to argue semantics by purposefully reading sentence and paragraph fragments.

Yes, it does matter, look at the above point. Jesus christ, have you even played anything above tier 5? Because everything you say makes it seem like you've either never played any ship with almost any kind of anti air or you never get any AA upgrades nor do you focus fire on air groups. No shit you'll not be killing stuff because you're at less than half the effectiveness against air that you could be at.

You keep using anti-air as an argument when a large portion of what I'm saying is that AA isn't that effective unless you literally let your planes stay there. But they pull 180s instantly so why would you be that fucking stupid? You literally wait until they're rudder locked, pick where they're going to be, and fly in and drop. You do this very thing in your own videos.

Yes, and you can angle, turn, decelerate, accelerate, use cruiser panic, use your fighter, use carrier fighters, use islands to mitigate damage from carrier drops too. There are ways, you just refuse to acknowledge any of them.

Because you refuse to acknowledge that the crux of my argument is that manual drops let you say 'lol fuck all that'.

Yes you fucking are. Your fucking entire complaint is about "BUT I CANT DODGE ALL OF THEM!!!!!" Read your own fucking post again. You keep arguing about not dodging all of them, because it is a fact that you can dodge half of them if not even 75% of them if you dodge properly.

I literally said damage mitigation from carriers is ineffectual. In several posts. I'm really thinking this is a language barrier.

Probably because you don't even know the mechanics involved. I really do not believe anymore that you actually played that many matches in CBT. You say so many things which completely contradict you being experienced at playing the game in carriers or against carriers. You say the same things most new players keep saying when they complain about carriers being OP and "i did everything I could".

Keep straw manning.

Ah, and now we get to the crux of the problem. I see. Well, I am sorry for having wasted my and your time, because you are very unlikely to change your opinion since you're a veteran WoT player and have your notions already set. Nothing I say will ever convince you otherwise regardless of what evidence I would show you. Have a nice day. Hope you enjoy the game some more in the future.

This is the most hilarious debate concession I've ever seen. You've literally only cherry picked all my arguments, purposefully misinterpreted key concepts, and are ultimately reduced to an ad hominem dismissal. I hope you're a politician, because if not, you fucking should be.
