I’m [27M] am dealing with the same for about as long as you have. We don’t fight, only bicker a little bit, and for the most part it’s fine, but she’s always on her phone or switch and it’s hard to get her to do anything. I’ve tried motivating her to start her passion (music reviews) since that’s why she changed her university degree, got nothing. Tried getting her to apply to non-retail jobs so it’s more stable, nothing. We’ve had talks over the years and come out of it barely deciding to promise to give more but it goes back within a month.

She got a cat late last year and while she does empty the litter box, she gets annoyed at me because the cat likes me better because I actually give it attention lol
