I’ve been on and off about calling them because even though she is my friend (or at least used to be after what I saw), I have to put the safety and well-being of the newborn first. What I saw was definitely neglect (she wasn’t being violent with the baby or anything) maybe not wanting to change diapers and converse with guests was something she wanted to do, but the usage of cocaine right next to the baby is what really triggered me. She did not care one bit. From what she told me, her husbands family watch the baby 50% of the time while she goes out and lives her life, they also are heavy drug users from what I saw. I’m sure they’ll probably lie to make sure she keeps her kid. This situation is nerve wracking. I’ve never thought I’d be in this position
