I bought one for my youngest son about a year and a half ago. It's been a good computer, but we did have one incident that makes me question the overall quality.

About 4 months ago the power supply gave out a puff of smoke and the computer turned off. I removed the power supply and dissected it to find out that one of the capacitors has complete burned up leaving just two prongs sticking out of the PCB with everything burnt up around it.

I replaced it out of my own pocket with an off the shelf one and all has been fine. The power supply it came with just felt really cheap when I was taking it apart with lots of glue holding parts together.
