Should a character's sex, gender and race be important to who they are as character?

Oops you forgot the moment when he forgot to argue against my idea that races are equal and instead attack my race.

Thinking that sex or race is unimportant to the nature of a person is something I've found a lot of people who occupy statuses of privilege say. If you're part of the less privileged group in any status, you're aware of how it affects your life. Only people who are privileged in most domains truly think your gender, race, sexuality, etc. don't influence who you are at all.

Main part being:

Only people who are privileged in most domains truly think your gender, race, sexuality, etc. don't influence who you are at all.

Basically referring to me as "privilaged", pretty common idea nazis used and still use against jews to rationalize their hatred in the vain of: "I cannot be racist towards jews because they are privilaged"

Then again, It's still quite racist even if he didn't call me specifically out on being a jew and instead some other race, even with that it doesn't really matter as rebutting to a point of "all races are equal so race does not matter to the nature of someone's personality" with "well you're a wrong race so your point is invalid"

If you're part of the less privileged group in any status, you're aware of how it affects your life.

So I cannot be part of unprivilaged group such as race or a sex because I have too "jewish" opinions. I can't really tell if he was actually joking or trolling: Nobody in their right mind tries to argue against race equality with "you're part of a wrong minority group because you think this".

Not sure how you can understand that part as anything but that. Pretty blatant anti-semitism, as he even doubled down on it when I noted that I am a jew and he sounds anti-semetic for saying I am wrong for being a jew rather than because my arguments were wrong.
