Why should a company use hubspot software?

We use Hubspot primarily for the benefit of our sales team. It's easy to onboard new salespeople and teach them to use the various tools, even the ones who aren't tech-savvy. Making all of our processes as user-friendly as possible eliminates margin for errr. It lets us hire base on personality fit rather than skillset, and at a small company it's all about building teams that work well together.

For marketing, I agree that Hubspot is more of a jack of all trades solution and you might be better off picking and choosing from a selection of tools that fit your needs.

My team mainly benefits from the marketing features of Hubspot as we lack the experience and expertise necessary to smoothly transition our site in Wordpress with all the relevant plugins, email sequences in Active Campaign, automation in Zapier, etc. If you know your way around web development and your team is skilled enough to use and integrate a variety of tools together with your CRM, Hubspot is absolutely going to seem overpriced for what you get.
