Should Congress Have Term Limits? Ted Cruz Reintroduces Constitutional Amendment

Make it illegal for companies to donate money to politicians, parties, campaigns, pacs or anything that has to do with those things.

Also for the legislative branch make it so the only money allowed for donation is in-state money. Places like KY should not be getting millions from CA or TX.

On another topic for the Senate, i've been considering the possibility of (what if) we had states' populations vote for the top two candidates (like ranked choice) they want for senate (for each seat from their state) and then the entire country votes for the senate candidate from that state.

For example, in the upcoming PA senate race we would have Fetterman, Toomey and others on the PA only ballot...and then the top two (say Fetterman and Toomey) are then the PA candidates for the entire country to vote on for the PA slot for senate. For some states the choices would all be republican or democrat, but then at least the US would be choosing the candidate for senate and not just a couple million from one state.
