Should creative people have nice personalities?

I did try to cover the points you raise, and certainly you can ignore the products. However, the products I have found to be quite good. Similarly, you can avoid movies with directors who treat people badly, books written by writers with problematic personalities, and so on. I was trying to point out that it's not at all uncommon for problematic personalities to produce very fine products. Of course, you don't have to buy the products (and certainly don't have to buy them directly from iKon)---but to confuse the product with the person is, in my view, a mistake.

You make a good point in that people who do not wish to deal with iKon directly should purchase from a dealer who has better customer service. In the US, here are the on-line dealers who sell iKon razors:

Shoebox Shaveshop www.shoeboxshaveshop.com
Bull Goose Wet Shaving Supplies www.bullgooseshaving.com
Shave Nation Shaving Supplies www.shavenation.com
Straight Razor Designs www.straightrazordesigns.com
Lee’s Safety Razors www.leesrazors.com
Razor Emporium www.razoremporium.com
Shave Tools www.shavetools.com
Maggard Razors www.maggardrazors.com
TheShavingEdge.com www.theshavingedge.com

These are generally thought to have good customer service, and Maggard Razors in particular is highly praised in this subreddit. (You can see a full list of dealers here, which includes other countries and also brick & mortar stores.

I certainly was not paid in any sort of compensation or consideration for writing the post, and your statement is (whether you realize it or not) offensive. It's as if you think the only reason someone could have a view that differs from yours is if they are paid for it. That is simply not the case. I tried in the post to explain the reasons for my view.

I thought I covered the idea about the backroom genius and the complaisant front man. Did you not read that part?
