Should Europeans be free to mix with other European ethnic groups?

No, people should stick with their own ethnic groups. The examples you list in your first paragraph are legitimate concerns. A Greek (who is largely unmixed btw) shares more genetic affinity with an Anatolian/Turk than a Norwegian, for example. The concept of all Europeans being genetically similar as long as they originated on the European continent is bullshit.

Also, if somebody is an ethnically mixed European, then they are a mongrel - simple as that. Somebody who is half German and half Russian is a mutt, as they do not have the identity of either. They can LARP all they want, and even if they can pass for either country, they still do not carry the identity of both, because at the end of the day, people's subjective and un-profound perspectives are irrelevant regarding their genetic makeup.

To add to that, each European ethnic group, for the most part, has distinct genetic facial features to them. If you're familiar with the phenotypes, which many individuals are, although on a very basic level (such as being able to tell the different between a Frenchman and a Pole, for example). These phenotypic variations and distinct appearances make their way into more specific levels as well, such as differentiating between a Northern Italian and a Slovenian, etc.

And lastly, this leads me to the question of colonial Europeans (Canadians, Americans, etc). They are a genetic disaster and a worthless amalgamation. They have lost all identity due to their inter-mixing with other European ethnic groups over generations, and they have no genetic identity or ethnic identity - aside from "white", which is something absolutely meaningless. These euro-mongrels are simply unfortunate beings, separated from their ancestral homeland and mutilated into something indescribable.

So, all in all, yes - it is of great benefit for each European ethnic group, for the most part, to stick to their own ethnic group. Or at the very, very least their sub-group (Germanic, Slavic, Mediterranean, etc), although that is not close to ideal.
