Should I even bother getting a degree?

This is what I wish I knew before I graduated: most places want a bachelor degree in anything(think insurance/sales/management/etc.) with some work experience(even just retail sales, but better is internship in that industry). However, there are a ton of ones that want industry specific stuff(supply chain, software dev, engineer, accounting). These will all allow you to break into other stuff, but the other degrees won’t(unless paired with extra training, think a lot of comp sci stuff for software dev and a small portfolio).

My advice is to get a bcomm and at the mimosas you have a technical skill for a specific job and you can still so the general jobs.
